LUJAN DE CUYO MENDOZA REGION, Argentina
Grapes primarily sourced from the Luján de Cuyo and surrounding areas. Alluvial soil. The wine is harvested in April by hand, aged in French oak barriques for 6 months and then aged for an additional 5 months prior to release. Shipped in bulk, and bottled in the UK.
Tasting Notes, Deep red and violet in color, with powerful aromas of ripe red fruits, strawberries and cherries, with hints of coffee and chocolate from the oak. Good body and fleshy tannins with a long, lingering finish.
Trivento takes its name from the three seasonal winds that blow through the vineyards throughout the year– the Zonda, the Sudestada and the Polar, which shape the character of the vineyards and the wines. Trivento’s Reserve range sets the standard at Trivento with its accessible, affordable wines. Each one displays a perfect balance between fruit and oak. Trivento has made significant investments in its premium winemaking facilities in order to produce wines of the calibre of its 'Private Selection' range.
